Model Workspace
The Model workspace combines the primitive palette, modelling canvas, inspector, simulation controls, and results Workspace.
Select and navigate
- Click an object to select it; Shift-click to build a multi-selection.
- Drag selected objects to move them.
- Two-finger scroll pans the canvas; pinch gestures zoom.
- Double-click a label to edit its name or text.
- Enter a module to work on its contents; use the module back control at the upper-left of the canvas to return.
- Use the panel chevrons to collapse or restore the palette, inspector, and results Workspace.
The inspector follows the current selection. With no selected object, it shows model-level settings and tools.
Create objects
The palette provides:
- Stock, Flow, and Auxiliary for simulation structure
- Module for model hierarchy
- Text and Graphic for annotation
- Connector for information dependencies
- Plot types including time series, area, bar, pie, combo, scatter, heatmap, table, and Sankey. Histogram presentation is configured within a Bar plot.
Graphics and text are visual objects and do not participate in simulation equations.
